What is the minimum age to rent a car at AVA Car Rental?
The minimum age to rent a car in Dubai with AVA Car Rental is 21 years old. If you’ve already reached this age, you’re all set to choose your car and hit the road.
Can I rent a car with a Russian or Ukrainian driver’s license?
Yes, you can. We accept valid national driver’s licenses from countries like Russia, Ukraine, Kazakhstan, and others. There’s no need for an International Driving Permit (IDP).
What does the car insurance cover?
All vehicles at AVA Car Rental come with comprehensive insurance.
If an accident occurs and the renter is at fault, the following applies:
•10% of the total damage;
•Plus a fixed deductible based on the car model.
For example, for a Lamborghini Huracan, the fixed fee is $1,370.
What documents are required to rent a car?
To rent a car, you will need to provide:
•Your original passport;
•A valid national driver’s license;
•A bank card with sufficient funds to cover the rental and the security deposit (the deposit will be pre-authorized and later deducted after confirmation).
What payment methods are available?
You can pay using:
•Credit/debit card (Visa / Mastercard);
•Cash;
•Cryptocurrency.
Please note: card payments may be subject to processing fees by your bank or payment provider.
What traffic violations can I be fined for in Dubai?
The Dubai Traffic Police can issue fines for a wide range of violations, including:
•Speeding (exceeding the speed limit);
•Driving too slow, below the minimum allowed speed;
•Driving without a valid license;
•Driving a vehicle without license plates;
•Running a red light;
•Driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs;
•Failing to maintain a safe distance from the vehicle ahead.
Important: Around 90% of all fines in Dubai are related to speeding violations. Always follow posted speed limits and drive responsibly.
